The Ekiden marathon relays are Sat 16/10/2010 in Brussels and already quite a few of us have expressed an interest.

Please could you reply asap if you would like to do it this year. Steve (Adams) is looking to book up a group Eurostar ticket (out Friday evening around 6ish, back Sunday evening same sort of time).

I am happy to enter the team/teams and organise the hotel bookings for those happy to stay in the Renaissance Hotel again.

I have let steve know that i would like to do the relays this year,and would be happy to stay at the Renaissance if any of the others are keen to do so.

To recap, its a weekend in Brussels, leaving St Pancras at 6.35pm on 15 October, returning Sunday afternoon. Oh and I nearly forgot.......there is a race:

The Ekiden relay has 6 legs (10k x 2, 5k x 3, and a final 7.2k) making it up to the marathon distance.

So far we have 10 runners, (Zoe, Paul, Bill, louise, Glyn, Adrian, Steve D, Ian, Steph and myself). There are two legs to make it up to a full team.

If anyone is interested and/or would like more detail please let me know.
