Eton Manor AC is the running club for Leyton, Walthamstow, Leytonstone and Hackney Wick, with a youth section offering an athletics programme including running, jumping and throwing.

The club is run entirely by a volunteer committee of current members, who change from time to time by annual election.

We’re proudly inclusive and aim to be representative of our community, with members of all ages, backgrounds and running abilities welcome.

You can find out more about our volunteer committee here and to get a sense of our member community, you can like us on Facebook, follow us on Twitter or Instagram, and if you’re planning on joining us you can chat with members in our Facebook Member’s Group.

Club activity is made up of training, races and social events across two sections: senior and youth.

Senior Section

The senior section training programme focuses on fitness and performance improvement for all abilities through carefully planned sessions each week throughout the year.

Social runs are also take place informally in addition to the main training programme.

There are more than 30 opportunities each year to race as part of club membership for senior members in local running leagues on both road and cross country, alongside intra-club events, local rival competitions and national events.

Social events for the senior section include monthly post-training get togethers at local pubs, running themed talks from members and experts, picnic and games events, all culminating each year with our annual Christmas party.

Youth Section

The youth section train once per week in a broader range of disciplines within running, jumping and throwing. Competition opportunities include termly games events, races as part of local club leagues and annual events such as the London Youth Games and London Mini Marathon.
